My Sordid Valentine

Over at The Outfit blog, Sara Paretsky (Fire Sale) reminds us about one of the most infamous Valentine’s Days evah and, at the same time, celebrates Chicago’s “sordid history”:

It was on a beautiful Valentine’s Day much like this one that Al Capone ambushed Bugs Moran and eliminated his north side gang. The slaughter was horrific.
