Crime Comes to Canada

A full slate of crime writing-inspired and related events take place across Canada this week, culminating with the 23rd Annual Arthur Ellis Awards dinner on June 8th and Bloody Words VII, both in Toronto.

The Bloody Words conference runs from June 8th to the 11th and is Canada’s largest celebration of mystery. The Canadian guest of honour wil be Mary Jane Maffini (The Dead Don’t Get Out Much, 2005) and the international guest of honour is Stuart M. Kaminsky (Terror Town, 2006), while mystery writers from across Canada and the United States will participate in a full track of panels and discussions.
